WWow, thats very nice. I paticuarly like the glare coming off the explosion. The reflections coming off the water gives it a sense of realism and all the orange going on there makes it overwhelming which is exactly what a Nuke would be like!
Those building brushes are great, it'd probably be good to see some of the buildings falling apart in places as by that time of the explosion, they would've already taken alot of damage! Nice one.

I grew up living on Air Force bases, and lived at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska during the Cuban missle crisis. I remember watching the B47's taking off every three hours and expecting to see one of these outside my window daily. (Good thing we had our tubular steel and formica desks to dive under to protect us)..Nice work!

you do have a point but there is also 2 parts to a nuke the first heat blast of ir light radation and other radio and microwave energy. depending on distance from the blast can heat up object up to millions of degree's at nagasaki when the bomb was droped people where vaporized and the only things left where there shadows burned onto the walls... so more or less the concosive blast wave has not stuck the building sence its only moving at the speed of sound. as you can see the buildings at the center are kinda bing burn out but you do have relevent points. If I make another nuke picture I will have to have some of the buildings falling down.. on a side note most sky scrapers are desided to withstand up to 150 mile a hour sustained winds the blast wave on a nuke moves at the speed of sound and produces up to 22 maga pascales of positive and nagative pressure with winds from the blast waves reaching 250 miles a hour but not sustained. with out failing stucturaly more or less a nuke to skyscrapers would blow the skin right off most of them wile brick structures would colapse reinforced concreate might take damage depending on size and thinkness. But your right I should have done more to make it represent a nukes damage more. 8(
